Denison Seah Killed In Fatal Accident

We are very sad to announce that our good cyclist friend, Denison Seah, 57, was killed in a fatal accident on Sunday, July 1st, 2018. He was riding his bike together with his partner, Ms. Pim, at an easy pace, when he got hit by a shovel of an excavator being transported on a truck.

Denison was a passionate cyclist who had moved from Singapore to Chiang Mai after retiring as a businessman a few years ago. He loved the simple and peaceful lifestyle there and went to ride and train almost every day. Due to his friendly, polite and generous character, he made many friends in the local cycling community.

He joined and raced in the Masters Tour of Chiang Mai several times. We have known Denison as a true sportsman, who always strived to give his best while maintaining a spirit of fairness and friendship.

Denison leaves behind his daughter, Christine Seah, 27, and his Thai partner, Pim. Our thoughts are with them in these sad times.

The traditional Thai Buddhist 3-day mourning has already started at Wat Sun Phasak in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai and the cremation has been scheduled for July 4, 12:00 pm. Please find the location here: https://goo.gl/maps/R12N3KNKpDz.

May he rest in peace.
