MTCM 2018 Date Change to October 13-16

unfortunately we have to inform you that we had been forced to change the dates of this year’s Masters Tour of Chiang Mai from October 20-23 to October 13-16.

Since we first started to organize the race in 2011, our objective has always been to attract both Thai and international riders. In order to be able to invite Thai riders, the race has to be sanctioned by the Thai Cycling Federation. Unfortunately, the Federation has now put up a Nationally important track race on October 20-21. All commissaires available have to attend that race and would not be able to come to MTCM. Without commissaires we would no longer be sanctioned by TCF, which would also make it impossible for any Thai rider registered in the TCF to join MTCM as they would be facing a suspension. So this situation forced us to change the dates.

Please accept our apologies, we feel very sorry about this first change in dates in 8 years of Masters Tour of Chiang Mai.
