Unfortunately, the Covid 19 pandemic is now forcing us to postpone this year’s Chiang Mai Masters Tour indefinitely.

For a long time we had hoped that the situation would gradually return to normal after the state restrictions were gradually lifted in recent weeks and months. As you probably all know, all international trips to Thailand are still suspended at this time. Given the numerous new and ongoing outbreaks of the pandemic around the world, it seems unlikely that this situation will completely reverse in the near future.

As organizers of a bike race like MTCM, we also need the approval of the government and the Thai Cycling Association. At this point, we obviously can’t get either of them.

We are very sorry that we cannot celebrate our tenth anniversary with you at the planned date and we ask for your understanding.

Everything is already prepared for the event, so that we can reschedule the race again at short notice. In view of the developments in Thailand, however, we think that the prerequisites for this could not be met until mid-January 2021 at the earliest.

We will keep you up to date with the latest developments and hope to see you all healthy and fit again soon.
